COVID UPDATE (23 November)

It is very welcome that there seems to be good news on several fronts during the last few days. There are vaccines coming that might see us exiting from all restrictions by the end of spring or early summer; the Government is not extending the total lockdown after the 2nd December that some were fearful of; and that grassroots sport can resume when the current lockdown ends.

There are, however, some doubts over the facilities that we might provide to members after the 2nd December. We all must wait until Thursday it seems when the new Tiered restrictions are expanded upon – and, more importantly, we find out which Tier we will be placed in.

More to come later in the week. But let us hope we can provide full services to every sporting and social Member sooner rather than later.
