Wishing You a Tier 4 Christmas

Dear Member,

As we are pass through the time of year that our winter social timetable would normally be at its height.  I am saddened that for the first time, in the thirty plus years of my being part of Beckenham Sports Club, that the Club will be closed during the current Tier 4 restrictions.

The economic limitations that the Tier 4 regulations place on us means that the Club will need to be closed during the day (see below for floodlight token purchases) and totally shut at weekends until further notice.

The sale of floodlight tennis tokens will mean the Club being open between 1800hrs – 1900hrs each weekday. Players will be limited to five tokens (coaches to ten tokens).

I will take this opportunity to thank the Club’s staff and Board for their assistance and endorsement during this awful year. And, similarly, I would thank all the Members for their support during the multiple openings and closings of facilities and their obeyance of ever-changing regulations.

The end of sporting and social restraints, I believe, is in sight as we will all become vaccinated against the virus. In the meantime, Beckenham Sports Club will ensure that every facility that can be provided will be, as we come through this period and out the other side of the restrictions.

Finally, I send you all the best wishes for Christmas and, with a whole-hearted wish, for a better New Year.
