Opening up on the 17th May

Dear Member,

Back indoors with the next phase of the bar re-opening, just in time for the ‘May showers’.

And a welcome back to squash – sorry it’s been so long!

The rules are much the same as those heady days of Tier 3,

  •  Rule of six / two households

  • Table service from our now expert staff

  • No standing inside and no standing at the bar

  • Masks must be worn indoors when not sat down

  • If you are displaying any signs of the virus do not attend the Club and follow the Government guidelines for getting a test

  • Any other coughs or sneezes, probably stay at home as well

Please respect the bar staff, they are doing their best to keep you safe and refreshed.

Food service indoors (and out) is also available from midday Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday; and on Sunday mornings for the copious junior cricketers and parents.

For those of you using our sport facilities please note,

  • If you are on a tennis court you should have booked it.

  • If you are on a cricket net you need to have reserved it.

  • If you didn’t book a squash court, then its going to be dark.

There remains no access to showers or changing rooms at this time.

We are not out of the woods yet. Please help to keep each other safe while this phase of the roadmap to freedom is in place.

Take care, stay well, stay safe.
